           Items pictured here are, unless noted otherwise, USED, in original packaging and equipped with KADEE (or similar)couplers where appropriate. Locomotives have been test-run and unless noted otherwise are NOT DCC-equipped nor DCC-ready. Condition, features etc. are noted in each photo caption.Got a question?   The following abbreviations are used:

bcr: boxcar red or similar colour (oxide, tuscan etc.);

B/U - built up from a kit;

C/L - constant-intensity headlight(s); 

CMT - Canadian Model Trains (importer, dealer);

C/P - custom painted;

 C/P/W - custom painted, weathered; 

F/A - factory assembled;

F/P - factory painted;

LN - like new;

l/t - less trucks

l/t/c - less trucks and couplers

NB - no box;

NIB: new, in box;

OMI - Overland Models Inc. (Importer);

PFM - Pacific Fast Mail (importer);

UND - unpainted;

w/s - wood-sided;

w/v: wide (extended) vision.

Please note also the following RR-name abbreviations used here:

CN: paint schemes and lettering, 1961 to present;

CNR: all pre-1961paint schemes and lettering.

CP: paint schemes and lettering, 1965 to present;

 CPR all pre-1965 paint schemes and lettering;

CPRCo: Latest "Golden Rodent" scheme.

If price shown in photo (if any) differs from price listed in text, the lower price shall apply. All items are subject to prior sale.

Items offered for sale are located in Nanaimo, which is situated on Vancouver Island in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Prices are in Canadian Dollars. Postage charge(s) are not included in prices. To arrange a purchase, ask a question or ask for a postage quotation please e-mail me at: [email protected]. Please quote category name, cab number (on locomotives) and car number (on rolling stock), (not number superimposed on photograph, if any), and a brief description of item when making an inquiry.

Local-area pickup can be arranged. 

Multiple purchases made at the same time will be combined to reduce the cost of postage.

For-sale items have been described as accurately as possible and are offered "As-is". Please e-mail me if you have any question(s) or if you desire information about mailing costs, currency exchange-rates etc.

Payment must include the sale price plus the quoted cost of postage and insurance. If actual postage turns out to be less, a refund will be sent. Please note that I do not charge a handling fee.

After confirmation of the sale I will notify the buyer of the total payment required. Please wait for this notice;

payment should be received within 14 days.

Payment methods: I accept cash (mailed at your risk); money orders (bank and postal) and personal cheques (item(s) will not be mailed until cheque has cleared). I am not equipped to accept credit cards nor PayPal.

I will, to the best of my ability, package your purchase(s) to fall into the lowest-possible postage-cost category. Signature-upon-delivery and postal insurance for the full value of the purchase price are required and costs of same will be included in postage quotation.

Unless buyer requests otherwise, parcels are sent via surface mail, worldwide.

The Canada Post service used will be based on destination:

Within Canada: Canada Post Expedited Parcel.

To USA: Canada Post Expedited Parcel - USA

To all other destinations: Small Packets International - Ground.
